$350,000 in Grants given to Capitol Hill projects... help us decide what is "essential" for the next round of Grants!

Help Us Decide What Matters To The
Capitol Hill Community…

The Capitol Hill Community Foundation Is Your Tool For Funding What Matters. This Month, We Released $350,000 In Community Raised Dollars To Fund Nearly One Hundred Local Projects. Many Of These Organizations Are Using Their Funds To Respond To The Coronavirus Pandemic (Grants Marked With Asterisks Are Contingent Upon The Reopening Of Institutions And Program).

In light of the urgent times, the Foundation has issued Special Emergency Grants to Little Lights Urban Ministries, Serve Your City, Everyone Home DC, CHAMPS, and Hill Center. Some of these projects deal with the core issues of social justice: anti-poverty efforts, ending homelessness, and equity in access. Others are cherished neighborhood institutions facing immediate financial challenges.

Now is your chance to act locally…If you are looking to directly support local organizations who are engaged in essential work… the list below is a good starting point.

If you are ready to think ahead to the future… help us find new, worthy projects to fund in our next round of grants. Our Fall 2020 Grant Applications will be due on September 28th, 2020.
